Wexford town is one of Ireland’s most important walled towns. Almost 1km of the wall still stands. This walk takes us along the line of the wall from the restored Selskar gate to the low lying Bishopswater River estuary at Stone Bridge. You will be surprised at how much of the wall is still to be seen, with its watch towers, arrow and musket loops.
This walk requires booking. It takes about 75 mins. The cost is €5 per person.
